maybe there are people who try and play it up like anders is uwu but i mean, for the most part everyone i know acknowledges and even embraces the fact he’s a short tempered catty/petty mess of a man who’s been through hell and back but still loves with everything he has, and loves with even more when he has nothing. the reason i id so heavily with him is because he’s not a perfect victim, his experiences have shaped him in ways that probably aren’t that pretty or healthy but still make him human, ya know? and still make him a good person. i could ramble for hours about this but, in my opinion, the flaws he actually has (and not bioware’s ooc ableist bullshit that i won’t and can’t accept) are what make him one of their best characters!!
