I don’t care what happens in DA4, all I care about is that Hawke and Anders are happy and together and away from trouble. They live in a small farm somewhere, with cats and dogs, in peace, because after years of fighting as revolutionaries they deserve it. Hawke works days on their little farm, and when it gets hot he takes his shirt off and works those strong dad arms and Anders likes watching his husband when he’s sweaty and gorgeous and he’s like “wow that man belongs to me I can’t believe it” and sometimes he says it aloud and Hawke is like “yes this thang here belongs to you” and they’re still in love and in lust with each other and their every day lives are simple and sometimes hard and they’re happy just curling up in bed together at the end of the day with their cats and dogs and nothing else matters because at least they have this small corner of the world where they can be together and happy and this is the endgame for Hawke and Anders and nobody can convince me otherwise.

I like to think that Anders is so in awe about being with Hawke he gets all giddy about it even after years and decades of being together.

Anders: Holy shit my boyfriend is so gorgeous! I can’t believe he’s my boyfriend, I wonder if he’ll have sex with me?
Hawke: Anders, we’re married.

Because Anders deserves hugs. And neck kisses.

I was inspired after re-reading this little ficlet by @fauxfires and I just love the description of Hawke’s hands on Anders:

“hawke’s hands settle on anders in turn – a light touch, a hand on his hip and another around his back, palm splayed out in the centre of his feathered mantle, fingers spread and claws digging in just enough to make the fabric bunch around them.“

(Tbh I enjoy Reikah’s writing in general. Even your small handers related commentaries/tags can easily make my day.)
