Yeah I usually try to think of it that way, but I am aware I might (perhaps) be more “intense” than an “average person” so this is why I worry a lot (and then try to tone it down a little bit but it’s so hard NOT to be yourself lmao).

(lol it took me like two months to reply to this, sorry I’ve just been feeling terribly uninspired to do anything.)

So yeah, this is about handers (aka, Garrett Hawke/Anders), obviously.

1.Who kisses the other on the nose and the one receiving the kiss blushes?

I’m not sure if either of them are the blushing type, except for in the beginning of their relationship, maybe. Anders has such a wonderful nose it’s basically begging to be kissed. Both Hawke and Anders are in the habit of kissing each other randomly in various places; forehead, nose, shoulder, hands, knees. They’re grossly cute like that.

2.Who sits on their partner’s lap as they wrap their arms around their partners neck?

Anders, because he’s a smol mage who needs affection. Hawke sitting on Anders’ lap would be less cute because he weighs a ton. He does it sometimes regardless.

Anders also definitely does a lot of “sitting” on Hawke’s lap with his arms around his neck. You know, when he gets the d. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

3. Who kisses the inside of their partner’s palm before reassuring them everything is going to be okay?

Hawke. Anders is an anxious mess who worries about a lot of things.

4. Who initiates the forehead touch™?

Both of them. Especially Hawke, when he wants to reassure Anders how much he loves and supports him. Forehead touches on the piles of dead templars’ bodies.

5. Where do they first say “I love you”?

Well, we all know how it happens in canon (especially Anders’ love confession), but I imagine in most of my AUs / scenarios it happens either 1) somewhere super casual, like when they’re shopping for groceries, or 2) in bed, right when Hawke is about to cum inside Anders LOL.

6. Who wraps their arms around their partner who is cooking?

This is an equal household, therefore they both cook and do the hugging-from-behind thing.

7. Who breaks out the first aid kit when the other gets a paper cut?

Anders. Because duh, he’s a healer. Hawke, on the other hand, would probably  bleed tons and still say sth like “it’s only a small scratch”. He’ll lose an arm and say “it’s just a flesh wound”.

8. Who cuddles up to the other on the couch?

Anders, because he’s always cold and Hawke is his personal heater. I hc Anders gets cold easily.

9. How do they hold each other when their partner asks to be held?

Garrett Hawke wraps his strong muscly arms around Anders and surrounds him with warmth and love. He does it without asking.

10. Who picks up the other fireman style in a playful way?

Obviously Hawke. He’ll be like “Sex. Now.” Also Anders probably couldn’t even carry a massive meat tank like Hawke.

11. Who brings the blanket to wrap them both up in it?

Anders, because again, he’s cold. Or Hawke, because he knows Anders is cold.

12. Who falls asleep on who? What is their reaction when the other falls sleep on them?

Happens to both of them. Reactions would be something along the lines of “omg I love you so much” or “you’re so fucking heavy” or “it’s way too fucking hot but he’s too cute to wake up”. Or just, meh, going back to sleep.

13. Who likes to be held and who likes to hold?

They both like to hold and be held.

1. Who takes the trash out?

Hawke. I imagine the dynamic between Garrett and Anders is kind of like in this comic. In the bedroom Garrett is dominant (usually), but in their everyday life he does pretty much everything Anders tells/asks him to do. Not that they don’t switch things up occasionally. Anders can take the trash out too. It’s an equal relationship.

2. Who reminds the other to take care of themselves?

Obviously Hawke. He has to remind Anders to eat and sleep because that man is just so passionately focused on his manifesto and social justice. Then again, I like to think Anders has to make sure Hawke doesn’t get himself killed in their adventures. As in “no, please don’t run straight towards that dragon, NO leave it alone, no there are too many darkspawn for you to handle alone, Garrett stop it.”

They take care of each other and it’s perfect.

3. Who is happier when they are out in nature?

Probably Hawke because he’s this outdoorsy lumberjack type of person.

4. Do they like to go in the hot tub together?

Yes. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Nothing better than Anders leaning back against Hawke’s burly chest, Hawke wrapping his strong arms around Anders, them just relaxing and enjoying the warm water and each other. Lovely.

5. Do either of them avidly follow a celebrity and/or fandom?

I have plenty of modern AUs for these two but I haven’t put any thought into this. So I guess, no? Hawke likes zombie movies lol.

6. Who builds a pillow fort?

I reckon most people would assume it’s Hawke but I’m going to say Anders. I imagine he gets cold easily, so sometimes he just likes to drown himself in pillows and blankets and snuggle up in there comfortably – with Hawke, preferably.

7. Who plans the romantic date?

Both of them. Hawke especially. He likes to pamper Anders.

8. Who likes to play with the other’s hair?

Again, they both do, but especially Hawke, because Anders has lovely, soft hair. His hair is also longer than Garrett’s so it’s easier to play with/to grab.

9. Who calms the other down when the other has a nightmare?

Anders probably has more nightmares, so I think Hawke has to calm him down. Comfort your troubled poor feathermage boyfriend, Garrett.

10. Who wants their dog to sleep on the bed with them?

Haha. Hawke, obviously. This is canon. Unless they’re going to bang, in that case the poor puppy has to stay out of the room.

11. Who can’t sleep without the other?

Anders. However, I feel like once they’ve gotten accustomed to sleeping together, both Hawke and Anders would have trouble sleeping without the other. 

12. Who is too nice and will listen to a sales person pitch?

Since in my game/AUs Garrett Hawke is red/purple (mostly aggressive), he definitely doesn’t have the patience for bs. He’ll outright threaten the poor sales person. So I’d say Anders. I’m sure Anders has his limits too, so I don’t think he’d be that polite more than once. Anders definitely knows how to be rude, too.

13. Who makes the first move to cuddle? 

Garrett Hawke, the aggressive muscly bear, is a total cuddle monster.

14. What is their go to fast food place?

This is another thing I haven’t really thought about in my modern AUs (does the canon Kirkwall have “fast food” places?). I’m sure Hawke takes Anders to restaurants that serve the most fattening food because that man needs some meat on his bones.

I’m going to say Nando’s just because I myself love it so much. Cheeky nando’s for Hawke and Anders.

15. Who likes to wear the other’s sweaters?

Anders, because he’s smaller and gets cold easily, so there’s nothing better than getting all nice and cozy in Hawke’s large shirts (Garrett’s epic muscles would just ruin Anders’ sweaters if he wore them). He also likes to be surrounded by Hawke’s smell. Wow Anders is so in love.

1. Who takes the trash out? 

Spy may be fancy, but that’s exactly why I think he’s a bit of a cleaning freak, so I’ll say Spy takes the trash out. A nice contrast to Sniper who’s a complete slob. Sniper ends up taking the trash out when Spy makes him do it.

2. Who reminds the other to take care of themselves?

It goes both ways, I suppose. Sniper reminds Spy to wind down a little, and Spy tells Sniper to stop being a slob and take a shower every once in a while.

3. Who is happier when they are out in nature?

1000% Sniper. I mean, he has lived in the bush. Spy probably hates being away from the comforts of indoors, but for Sniper, he can tolerate being out in nature.

4. Do they like to go in the hot tub together?

Yes.

No. Ain’t nobody (mercenaries) got time for that.

Neither.

Spy. Because he’s a stereotypical romantic Frenchman and Sniper is an awkward bushman.

I imagine both of them. Sniper in particular, if he manages to get that bleeding mask off of Spy.

9. Who calms the other down when the other has a nightmare?

Both of them. 

10. Who wants their dog to sleep on the bed with them?

They probably don’t have a dog, unless they settle down together when they retire and end up getting a dog. In that case, Sniper. Spy is more of a cat person.

Spy. Although they both pretty much have to sleep without the other. Ooohh, forbidden romance!

12. Who is too nice and will listen to a sales person pitch?

Sniper. He’s nothing if not patient.

13. Who makes the first move to cuddle? 

Sniper. I imagine Spy is the sort of person who’d just fuck and be done with it, but Sniper gets more emotionally invested. So, the first time they bang, Spy is downright shocked when the filthy bushman wants to cuddle. lol. (Not that Spy isn’t soppy and romantic as well, this is just basically how I imagine their relationship is in the beginning.)

14. What is their go to fast food place?

I don’t know. Sniper would eat anything, but I imagine Spy is pretty disgusted with most fast food places.

15. Who likes to wear the other’s sweaters?

If we’re strictly talking about sweaters, then I suppose they end up wearing each other’s sweaters accidentally all the time.
