Happy Pride Month to those who can’t celebrate it

Pride Month is coming up! As a gay Russian, I feel the need to bring this up again. 

Please do not forget about our LGBT brothers and sisters in Chechnya.

LGBT persecution in Chechnya, Russia is still going on. Gay people are beaten, kidnapped, tortured, and killed simply for existing. There are legitimate concentration camps for the LGBT in Chechnya, that have existed for at least a year or more. Hundreds have gone missing and been killed. Western media has no longer given this crisis any time, and help has completely slowed down. Please do not forget about this again. Please do not let LGBT Russians die without at least trying to help.

This pride month let’s remember those who came before us, and remember our community’s history. Remember the AIDS crisis, remember the rainbow flag, remember stonewall. Remember black trans women and what they did for us.

Yay I’m in my new apartment. Although it doesn’t feel like I’ve moved in yet because the apartment is still empty. The moving van arrives tomorrow. And thankfully all my stuff fit in the van after all (I’ve been stressing about that for weeks so needless to say I’m super relieved).

Now I just have to wait for the torture that happens tomorrow. That is, the torture of carrying all my furniture in the apartment (and I have a bad back, nice).

The shirtless David King skin kind of makes me want to return to Dead by Daylight… but I’m moving tomorrow so my PC is packed and I’ll have no time for games in a while (I probably won’t get internet in my flat for a couple of weeks either).
