Another thing I usually immediately do in London is visit Forbidden Planet. And now I’ve checked out Dublin’s Forbidden Planet as well. I bought the Obsidian Fury figure from Pacific Rim. Too bad they don’t have Krieg the Psycho figures yet (I already have Zer0 and Handsome Jack), although I’m considering getting Tiny Tina maybe.

So it’s my very first time in Dublin/Ireland. Many things here are new to me and there’s a whole city to explore. And yet the first place I go to is Nando’s. Lmao I CAN NEVER RESIST.
I finally got that nandos card too (which is valid both in Ireland and in the UK). I’ve spent so much money in nandos over the years so it’s about time.

There’s a church nearby (St. Patrick’s church). And whooo I got two beds despite that according to the reservation I booked a single room.
Ah thank goodness, the reservation was fine and I got the room in this lovely little guesthouse in Ringsend. The room is directly above a local pub so yay, this should be “an authentic Irish experience”.
I love the “village atmosphere” in this part of town. The sea is near and the weather is a bit foggy and lovely.
IN DUBLIN
I’m at the airport. It’s WEIRD that I’m not flying to London this time, lol. Also kind of sucks that I don’t get to go there this year (but it’s fine because I visited twice last year).
The travel hype feels a bit different this time. I mean normally I’d be staying either at my gradma’s or my sister’s, waiting for the next day and for the trip to begin, all hyped and excited. But now I’m just home and playing dead by daylight lol.
My flight to Dublin is TOMORROW kjsdfjlsdf. I hope everything goes well AND I have a valid hotel reservation waiting for me in Dublin (because I just can’t stop being nervous about the fact that I haven’t heard from the hotel ANYTHING since I booked it).
