It’s my last full day in Dublin. I’m having lunch at temple bar (in a place called “the old mill”).

Don’t really have the energy for museums or anything. Maybe I’ll just sit in a pub for the entire day, lol.

I’m taking a train to Dun Laoghaire, to see a bit of the southern/eastern coast. After visiting Howth I just want to see a bit more of the outskirts of Dublin county.

(I hope my travel card is valid in this area too. It should be, since it part of the “short hop zone”.)

So I enjoyed Howth a lot, and Malahide certainly was an interesting history lesson. I just wish we had more time in each location (like the stonehenge/bath/lacock tour gave you a couple of hours in each location, but in this tour we got less than that).

However, this was an easy way to visit both places with minimal walking (and I did get to see the whole Malahide tour); we also drove around Howth and I got to see the Howth summit. The guide/driver was wonderful too, told everything we needed to know as well as a few Irish tales – he even sang some Irish songs which was lovely.

I definitely want to visit Howth again though (had the most perfect fish n chips there). I probably could still go there. We’ll see.

It makes me sad i haven’t been hungry at all today because there are so many things to taste and eat but now in the evening i felt a bit peckish so i was like “fuck it i’m getting a burger” and there’s this take away place next door AND THAT WAS SUCH A DELICIOUS BURGER.
