Venom’s love for Eddie is LITERALLY the reason why he agrees not to destroy Earth.
The premise of this movie is so obviously queer (a story about a queer alien who wants to stay in a new planet with his human boyfriend). So why couldn’t they have gone all the way and made it blatantly gay so nobody could ever argue against how gay it is?
Of course it was Venom’s idea, not at all surprised lol. That’s what I’d assume anyway, since Venom taking over a body usually means it’s Venom making all/most of the decisions (until it just sort of, backs away and stays in the background chilling and observing). It would have been awesome if in this particular scene Venom just looked like a literal genderless blob (with the head looking like the standard Venom ofc).
Anyways I still have to see the movie first (tonight, I’m hoping) before further discussing about it.
