I miss random things about London (/Britain in general). Like some of the most memorable moments for me are something relatively simple, such as

-That time I was staying in Acton for two weeks. One evening I decided to visit Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush since it was still open (it was ONLY a short bus ride and a tube ride away). Had a lovely dinner, did some grocery shopping (I think), then took the tube back to Acton. I was waiting at a bus stop near the North Acton station, and I was just watching the area. The sun was setting, everything was peaceful, I was feeling content. It was warm(ish), the perfect temperature for me.

-When I was staying in Chiswick, it was spring time, but to me it felt like practically summer. I had just arrived to my room. I opened the window, laid on my bed. It was warm and the birds were singing.

-Returning to Chiswick at night, after a rainy day. I was walking home from the bus stop. It was warm and I could smell the asphalt.

-Christmas in Islington. I could smell the christmas trees they were selling in the streets.

-Having a slice of pizza in Leicester square.

-My first strawberries in the borough market. They were gigantic and delicious.

-NANDO’S. (Always Nando’s)

Outside of London: 

-Those couple of hours I got to spend in Lacock. The refreshing country air, the old pub and the delicious dinner I had there… the birds were singing so loudly outside, even after it was dark. Otherwise it was quiet.

-The day I visited Cardiff. It was raining a bit, but at the same time, it was sunny. Very warm. That evening when I left back for London, I watched through the bus windows as the sun was setting over the lovely houses and it was lovely and beautiful.

-And ofc my trip to Stonehenge. Such a magical experience, to stand there in the middle of the ancient rocks. It was very cloudy, relatively windy, and the country air smelled lovely.

Ugh. I miss these moments when the weather is especially nice. Currently the sun is shining, the skies are blue. I miss travel,
